At Forest School, I had a smashing time. We were asked to do some weeding today and were given big forks to dig them up.
CJ and I were digging up potatoes in the Forest School garden. A side effect of our digging was a huge hole – luckily nobody fell in! It was cool, I love getting muddy! We found one of the world’s smallest carrots and the biggest potato – it was massive! It was the size of my fists joined together.
There were shield bugs, a frog and loads of spiders. Lewis told us all about how to tell if the garden spider was male or female. The one we rescued was male because it had large fangs.
We went in early today, after a short game. It was ok though because Mary King from the Olympic equestrian team had come to show us her silver medal. It didn’t look very heavy when she was holding it, but it weighed a ton.
